Shazam! Movie now in the works!

On Tuesday, director of the previously rumored "Shazam!" movie, David F. Sandberg, revealed to the world that the movie is officially in pre-production, starting now. He posted this on Instagram to confirm:

As of right now, not much is even known about the movie, other than the fact that it exists and Sandberg is directing it. Reportedly, Henry Gayden has signed on to write the script. More details will follow soon after the release of Justice League, this November, that will paint a clearer picture of Shazam's role in the DCEU as a character, and the movie's place in the rest of the movie universe.

Until then, we will have to wait for any updates about the movie and the story for the upcoming film.
