The powers that be at DC Comics and Warner Bros. are making a big push to try and catch up to Marvel's highly successful superhero team-ups and blockbusters. Right now, they've failed critically except for 'Wonder Woman', and with hopes of that movie's success influencing upcoming productions, audiences everywhere are hyped for 'Justice League'. And knowing it'll be a hit at the box office, DC has already lined up an immense stockpile of movies that are being worked on, ready to be released in the next 1-5 years.
While most of the details are still hazy, especially for the far out, long shot projects, here's a list of all the confirmed movies that you can expect to see in theaters soon:
Justice League - Nov 17, 2017
Aquaman - Dec 21, 2018
Shazam - Apr 5, 2019
Wonder Woman 2 - Dec 13, 2019
Cyborg - Apr 3, 2020
Green Lanterns Corps - July 24, 2020
Flashpoint - TBD (2020?)
The Batman - TBD
Batgirl - TBD
Gotham City Sirens - TBD
Suicide Squad 2 - TBD
Black Adam - TBD
Nightwing - TBD
Dark Universe - TBD
Man of Steel 2 - TBD
Please keep in mind that, aside from Justice League, all the dates listed above are tentative schedules, and could change, and are probably different, depending on your country. This list is for American audiences and is subject to deviation.
There is also a live action Teen Titans show in the works, and it will be interesting to see how that either plays into the existing DC live action shows like Arrow, or into the DCEU movies. That's expected to be released sometime early in 2018 as part of a new digital service that DC plans to introduce in the coming months. You can find an article by us detailing the entire announced cast of the show (so far) here. Fans all over the internet have high hopes for the upcoming production.
